The second of eight exercises features the patient in the standing position, arm extended at shoulder level, out to the side. The arm is briskly thrust across the body, then back in the opposite direction to its fullest extent. Then back across the body again for an eight count total. I call this the “French Karate Chop.”

This has led the patient down the road of frustration, disgust, and continued pain. Because of the physical stresses of my chiropractic work, I suffered tendinitis myself for six and one-half years This began with tendinitis in both elbows and both shoulders 13 years ago. The pain was so severe and constant I almost quit my profession.
