Shoo the “Flu” Naturally

Have you had the experience of taking the flu shot, yet ‘surprisingly’ develop the flu during the winter season?

I can tell you what has helped me and my flu patients. (Because of FDA rules, we cannot blanket state results with supplements).

There is an herbal supplement available that, if taken at the first sign of the flu (runny nose, sore throat) we often do not develop the flu. If taken later we do not suffer the severe flu symptoms and often can carry on with our normal daily activities.

If your doctor has recommended that you take the flu shot, by all means, continue to do so. But our experience is that sometimes you can avoid the flu completely or, at the very least, feel better while you have it.

The cost (9 different herbs in one tablet; 100 tablets per bottle) is $10.00 plus $4.00 Shipping and Handling. Wisconsin residents add 5.6% sales tax! (All dosage instructions will be sent with your order.)

To place your order, Call Dr. Edward Holtman, D.C. Office phone: 262-673-5650 after 10:30 A.M. CST or send your order with payment to 315 East Sumner Street, Hartford, WI 53027.

It is “Sinus Season”

There are many things that can contribute to a sinus infection: Deviated Septum (As from a broken nose, or faulty bone formation), Obstructions, and small passageways, scar tissue from repeated infections, allergies, and other environmental irritants such as dust, ragweed, and smoke.
But, for the person who has just plain ordinary sinusitis (uncomplicated by the aforementioned conditions), I’ve got good news for you!

In order to treat sinusitis effectively, one must put an anti-infection solution directly up into the sinuses. This will clear up the infected sinus tissues, and thereby the infection. It will also open the drainage passageways; Voila! Relief!

No, this solution is not salt water (saline) it is something better. Bear in mind that the appearance of blood in the nasal mucous can be a sign of a more serious problem, Consult your specialist. Green mucous is a sign of a serious infection. Yellow mucous equals an ordinary sinus infection, but if our solution doesn’t seem to bring beneficial results in one week or two, consult your doctor.
Cost of our natural method for complete instructions is $35.00 Payable in advance with a credit card, bank draft, money order, or certified check. All Sales Final.

To place your order, Call Dr. Edward Holtman, D.C. Office phone: 262-673-5650 after 10:30 A.M. CST or send your order with payment to 315 East Sumner Street, Hartford, WI 53027.

Sinus Solution Formula

Years ago a weak solution of boric acid and water was successful in treating eye lid infections. The sinuses are lined with a similar membrane.

If you are allergic to environmental irritants, or if you smoke, this treatment will not be effective, so don’t even try it.

The Formula:

Use a level ¼ teaspoon of boric acid crystals or powder to about 6 or 7 cups of warm water. The amount of water (warm) will vary in accordance with the tolerance of the patient. If the solution burns, dilute it down. If it tingles, it is okay. Some patients will be able to tolerate 6 cups of water, for others 10-15 cups might be necessary.

The patient lies on one side with head tilted toward floor, facing immediate wall. This eliminates the possibility of the solution running down the throat. Place a pillow under the shoulder to increase the tilt.
With tissues directly under the nose, the patient slowly introduces an eye-dropper full of the solution into the lower nostril. Then a second eye-dropper full is introduced. Set a timer for 7 or 8 minutes. At the four minute time level introduce a third eye-dropper full.

If you use a baby nasal aspirator and ear syringe (Available at Walgreens) perhaps only one application on each side will be sufficient. If not, perform the same procedure twice on each side. Do not turn head upward (toward ceiling) at any time during treatment. Now, with head facing the immediate wall, rise up and blow out remaining solution. Repeat procedure on opposite side. Do both sides twice. Repeat entire process for six days in a row—This is important. With each successive treatment, dilute the solution by ½ cup of water (if you have reached maximum tolerance).

If you swallow some of the solution, it will not be harmful unless you have stomach ulcers, in which case you should immediately drink milk. Most sinus conditions are chronic so this treatment will have to be repeated on different occasions. Serious or stubborn cases should consult a specialist.

To place your order, Call Dr. Edward Holtman, D.C. Office phone: 262-673-5650 after 10:30 A.M. CST or send your order with payment to 315 East Sumner Street, Hartford, WI 53027.

It’s Time For Some New Thinking About The Common Cold!

To begin, there is more than one cause (viruses) of the common cold. This is precisely the reason the common cold had been baffling the “experts”. It is also the reason that the common cold is so common!

Something else to think about: Have you ever wondered why you can be in the company of someone who has a cold and you do not “catch” it? On the other hand, for weeks, you may have not been in the company of someone who has a cold, yet you develop a cold. Why?

Could it possibly be that the common cold is not contagious? Heavens to Murgatroy, not that! The “experts” have been clinging to the notion that the common cold is contagious for centuries.
It’s time to “un-cling”! As far back as 1992 the University of Virginia Medical School concluded that rhino viruses could not be passed on through kissing.

If you are a frequent target for the common cold and want to know more about the common cold, and more importantly, how to avoid it, Call Dr. Edward Holtman, D.C. at his office phone: 262-673-5650. Dr. Holtman is the Author of “Would You Believe the Common Cold Is Not Contagious?”
